Class Schedule
Eastern time (EST)
- Session 1: Wednesday, Oct 7, 6:30–8:30 pm Learn the parts of your machine, how to thread it, and adjust stitch settings. You'll also learn how to assembly a PDF pattern, how to properly lay out and cut fabric using your pattern. Students will be tasked with washing/pressing their fabric, cutting out their patterns and fabric at their own pace before the first session of sewing.
- Session 2: Saturday, Oct 10, 9:00–11:30 am Arrive with your fabric cut and ready to sew. We'll work through each step of constructing your tote together. Any incomplete work from this session becomes homework; you'll have access to the class recording to help you finish.

A finished Market Tote in fabric of your choice. This versatile carry-all features a side pocket and sturdy handles, making it practical for shopping, library trips, or everyday carrying.Class Supplies

- 3/4 yards of calico cotton or similar weight
- All-purpose thread to match your fabric
- Scrap fabric for practice

- Sewing machine with straight stitch and zigzag stitch
- Iron and ironing board or mat

Beginner
This class is for absolute beginners who want guidance learning their machine and completing their first sewing project. Class sizes are kept small so you'll receive personalized attention and real-time feedback throughout both sessions. You'll also learn several beginner sewing techniques that will help you feel more comfortable with your sewing.Your Registration Includes
