Class Policy

I look forward to having you join me for a virtual class. Please make sure that you read the class policies outlined here. By enrolling in a class, you are agreeing to these policies.

 

Payment and Cancellation

  • All sales are final. If you change your mind about a class, you may receive store credit. Refunds are not issued.
  • If you are unable to attend, all classes include a recording, available for 30 days, so you're able to catch up on anything you miss.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a class in the event of low enrolment. You will be notified 72 hours before the class date if a cancellation will take place, and a full refund will be issued.

Class Attendance

  • Class will be held over Zoom. You will receive a link and any login details ahead of time. Please log in ten minutes before the scheduled start time to make sure your camera, microphone, and workspace are set up and ready to go.
  • Please be on time. It is not possible to schedule a make up class for any missed time or sessions.
  • A stable internet connection is your responsibility, as is making sure you have the latest version of Zoom installed ahead of class. We are not able to issue refunds or credits for connection or software issues on your end.

Project Completion

  • We aim to give you a thorough understanding of all the steps involved in each project. Our hope is that the project is completed by the end of the workshop, but this is not guaranteed. In this case, we will ensure that you have an understanding of how to complete the project independently, and you're welcome to use the class recording to help you catch up on any outstanding work.

Your Workspace and Equipment

  • You are responsible for providing your own sewing machine, tools, and supplies, and for making sure your equipment is in good working order ahead of class.
  • You acknowledge that sewing involves the use of equipment that carries risk and can lead to possible injury. You will use your sewing machine, iron, needles, and cutting tools with caution. You agree to release and hold harmless Victory Patterns from any and all claims and liability related to any accident or injury that may arise as a result of your participation in classes.
  • Victory Patterns is not responsible for any damage to your equipment, workspace, or personal property during class.


Recording and Privacy

  • Classes are recorded and shared with the group attending for 30 days following the class, so you can revisit lessons or catch up on anything you missed. By participating in the class, you consent to being included in this recording and to it being shared with your fellow classmates.
  • Please be mindful of what is visible in your background during class.
