Lola Sewalong: Gathering Supplies

November 13, 2019

Before we dive deep into sewing our Lola, let's go over the short list of supplies needed. You can choose to make Lola on your sewing machine on your serger, and depending on the machine you choose, your supply list will change slightly.

I've created a shopping list for either machine option here. And in case you missed it, yesterday, we talked about choosing your fabrics for this project, so make sure to check out that post before you head to the store.

Serger/ You'll Need:

  • Your Lola pattern (in PDF or print version)
  • Four serger thread to match your fabric.
If sewing the project on your sewing machine, one regular spool of thread is all you will need.
  • Ballpoint or stretch sewing needle.
  • 1/4" stretch twin needle (optional)
